Runners race through Flint's cultural gem
Those who participate in the annual 5k run enjoy going through Flint's Cultural Center, including the Applewood estate.
The route includes a run through Flint's Cultural Center, giving participants a chance to see up close the changes at the Flint Institute of Arts and notice the fountain no longer is next to Longway Planetarium.
More changes are planned for the center, which includes Sloan Museum, the Flint Public Library and the Flint Institute of Music.
